Dr. Natascha Crandall is a psychologist, educator, researcher, and guest lecturer dedicated to supporting children’s growth and development through the power of media. She is the founder and president of Crandall Consulting, LLC.
Natascha earned her Bachelor of Science in Developmental Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and continued her studies in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Maryland. After completing her master’s degree, she worked as an addictions therapist for young mothers in economically challenged communities near Washington, DC. Her work includes beloved, award-winning titles such as Gabby’s Dollhouse, The Octonauts, Donkey Hodie, Bing, Bubble Guppies, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Peter Rabbit, Bob the Builder, CoComelon, and numerous international co-productions with Sesame Workshop.
As a Pakistani-American Muslim, Natascha brings a deeply informed perspective to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She holds a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University and has served as a consultant to multiple organizations seeking to create more inclusive and culturally grounded content.
Beyond her consulting work, Natascha is a Daytime Emmy Award Judge, the Board President of The Prompt Institute, a former reviewer for the U.S. government’s AISL grant program, and a past member of the Woodcliff Lake, NJ Board of Education. She is also an active community leader, serving as a Girl Scout troop leader and Girls Lacrosse coach in her town.
