Erin Doppes

Erin Doppes, M.A.

Research Assistant

Erin is dedicated to creating beautiful and engaging content that makes the world a brighter place. And she knows that getting input from kids through formative research is an excellent way to do that!

As an early childhood educator, Erin saw how media pervaded the lives of young children and recognized the intrinsic power of media to make positive change. She worked in educational outreach at thirteen/WNET New York where she developed support materials to enhance PBS Kids programming. Erin was awarded with a graduate assistantship to study public media with a focus on children from The Ohio University School of Media Arts and Studies. A content producer at heart, Erin moved into creative development at Little Airplane Productions, where she managed the development slate, oversaw special projects, and assisted with research.

Family led her to the freelance life, where Erin currently works as a writer, creative content developer, curriculum developer, and educational consultant.

Erin is the mother of three children who consistently test her creativity and challenge her to put that child development theory into practice!
